An artist and printmaker, Riley earned an MFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design. He acquired practical knowledge of museum practices for the care and handling of artworks while working at Baylor University’s Martin Museum and RISD Museum’s Minskoff Department of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs. Riley brings this valuable experience to his role as Frame Designer at SBFF. With meticulous artistic skill and practical understanding of preservation, he contributes to the care and enhancement of our clients’ art collections. In his studio practice Riley is exploring the use the 15th Century painting technique “tempera grassa”.
