From the moment your artwork arrives at our loading dock to the final installation in your home, we provide a complete suite of collection care services designed to ensure your pieces are handled with the same reverence and technical precision we apply to our craftsmanship.

Collection care, under one trusted partnership.

From receiving and secure, monitored storage to installation and conservation coordination, every service runs through one accountable studio. Working with your art advisor — or directly with you and one of our designers — we care for the collection you already own: assessing frames across a collection, refreshing tired or damaged housings, and preparing works for exhibition, storage, or a new home.

Core collection care services

Art Receiving & Secure StorageWe receive incoming local, national, and international shipments directly at our Taft Street facility. Upon arrival, we photograph and document the work at intake, unpack and inspect on request, and house your art in secure storage under 24/7 security — a buffer while a new acquisition awaits framing or your collection rotates with your interiors.

Professional Installation & SecurityOur team coordinates professional installation with trusted art handlers. We prioritize the safety of your walls and your art, utilizing professional hanging systems — including D-rings, French cleats, and Z-bars — and security-grade hardware to ensure pieces are balanced, level, and permanently stable.

In-Home & On-Site ConsultationsWe often act as the bridge between your artwork and the architectural space it will inhabit. By bringing frame samples and matting options directly to your residence or corporate office, we evaluate sightlines, lighting conditions, and existing millwork to create a design that feels intuitive and perfectly scaled to your environment.

Crating & Transport CoordinationFor works traveling to exhibitions, auction houses, or secondary residences, we recommend experienced crating specialists and coordinate the process with you and one of our providers — protecting delicate works against the rigors of travel, so your art arrives in the exact condition it left our studio.

Specialized Conservation CoordinationIf your artwork arrives with structural damage, foxing, tears, yellowed varnish, or fabric degradation, you are not alone. We coordinate evaluations with our vetted network of independent specialists — conservators for paintings, works on paper, textiles, and objects — to restore your piece to health.

Ongoing stewardship

Caring for your art at home.

Once your art is installed, it becomes a part of your daily life. To keep your framing and glazing pristine, we recommend using a soft, dry microfiber cloth for gentle dusting. For the glazing, use a dedicated cleaner applied directly to the cloth — never spray the frame or glass directly, as moisture can migrate into the frame package.
