Collaborative Conservation: The Bridge to Specialist Care
We understand that fine art is a living object. While our expertise lies in framing, display, and stewardship, we serve as the essential bridge between your artwork and the vetted specialists — paintings conservators, paper experts, textile scientists, and sculpture restorers — who possess the surgical precision required to restore health to a piece of history.

Our role as stewards
Knowing when an artwork needs a specialist.
We believe the most honest service we can provide is knowing exactly when an artwork needs a specialist. If we identify tears, structural weaknesses, chemical instability, or surface degradation during our intake inspection, we do not attempt to “fix” it ourselves. Instead, we coordinate the path forward — acting as your project manager and facilitating communication between you and the conservator, so the restoration goals align perfectly with the eventual framing and display environment.
Areas of specialist coordination
Five disciplines, one point of contact.
The “frame-friendly” philosophy
Restoration and framing are one continuous process.
Why coordinate restoration through our studio? Because restoration and framing are not separate steps — they are a single, continuous process. We ensure that the conservator's stabilization work is fully supported by our framing. If a conservator needs a painting to remain on its stretcher, or requires a specific air gap for a stabilized textile, our bench team engineers the housing to meet those exact requirements. Your investment is not just “fixed” — it is preserved for the long term.
