Ross received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition to the artisanal and precise techniques of printmaking, he is skilled and experienced in all museum preparatory processes and fine art handling. Prior to joining the SBFF team, he was the Special Projects Coordinator for an art handling company and the team leader specifically requested for museum jobs. His sensitivity for protection of artworks through preservation methods and his craftsperson approach to all handwork are ideal for his position as Preservationist Fitter / Woodworker at SBFF. In his studio work he is researching folk craft in fiber arts and quilt making.
